My dad found this German car in the long grass at a wreckers yard in Darwin and had it sent down to me in Perth. This is the only Ford Taunus G.T.Coupe in Australia(There is a GXL in Alice Springs) These cars are built on the same platform as a Cortina(TC/TD) so converting it from left to right hand drive was as simple as buying a donor car and swapping the firewall over. The front cross member, steering and suspension was a bolt in ,bolt out deal dead f# ken easy. This was ment to be a father and son project but my father fell ill and it was sold off and hasn't been seen since

I picked up this one up cheap and was the second owner, the origional paint was in good nick, origional interior imaculate, it even had the origional black and white rego plates. It had a couple bits of rust that I fixed no probs. Cruising down the beach this restorer just had to have it and laced my palm with enough reddies to make me say yes another FB Holden sold

I had the chassis fitted with XJ6 Jaguar front and rear suspension, motorvation was to come from a 351 Cleveland, with straight cut timing gears,Twin Tunnel Ram,Twin gas mixers, Bug Catcher Scoop and C4 Auto. Sadly due to a medical condition I was unable to finish it and have sold off everything

I purchased this one cheaply and intended to just fix the rust, get it regoed, and drive the wheels off of it. There ended up being more rust in it than first antisipated. If I had blasted the body I think I would of cut my loss and junked it. Under the bog and rust I found newspaper, chook wire, steel Coke cans, fencing wire, heck there was even concrete in the rear quarters. I ended up putting a whole sheet of steel back into the car. After all this work I decided to raise the bar a little and finish building it to a theme and the Retro 70's FB was born.

XP Falcon ute

This was origionally my Dads and I helped him build it but I liked it so much I had to buy it off of him. The origional running gear, 6 cyl engine and 3 speed manual worked fine so we left it as was. This is how I drove it for ages untill one day travelling on the Great Eastern Highway Bypass Road sitting on 100kph(the speed limit)without any warning lights, rattles, etc.there is a huge explosion and the ute is fishtailing badly across two lanes of traffic, so I go for the brake and clutch and both pedals hit the floor with no resistence.

FB Holden Special

I was the third owner from new with this car and I don't think anything had ever been in the bootso I put some mags on it and drove the wheels off of it. I then started looking into what was required to fit a V6 Commodore engine and four wheel disc brakes. I spent heaps of time researching what had to be done, costs, legalitys etc and had even found a donor car, then I got the guilts, how could I bastardise such a origional car so I ended up selling it to a restorer for a tidy profit

Cortina MK1 Estate/Wagon

I purchased this car because they are as rare as rocking horse poo and intended to rebuild it. Problem is where I was working went bust and I was out of a job so this project got sold off and hasn't been seen since.

Toyota Hilux 4x4

This was a ex C.A.L.M.(Conservation & Land Managment) vehicle that I owned for a while, then I got itchy feet and wanted to travel Australia towing a caravan. This would require more power so I ended up being one of the first people in Perth to put a V8 on dual fuel legally into a Hilux 4x4. With all that extra power it used to do some hell fire rooster tails on the beach
